ENAIRE diversifies its activities through capital investments in a variety of companies.

ENAIRE holds 100% of the equity of Aena S.A., the world's leading airport operator. It is currently in the process of permitting private capital to buy a maximum of 49% of the equity of Aena S.A., after which ENAIRE will continue to hold 51% of its shares.

Aena manages 46 airports and 2 heliports in Spain and participates directly and indirectly in the management of another 15 airports worldwide. Aena is a leading company thanks to its experience, capacity and team of airport service management professionals. It offers its customers and users efficient comprehensive services of the best possible quality in order to make their transit through its network of airports a pleasant experience. • Centro de Referencia Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación ATM (Crida).

Taking the form of an Economic Interest Group, Aena (66.66%), Ineco (16.67%) and the Polytechnic University of Madrid (16.67%) founded the research centre Centro de Referencia de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación ATM (Crida) to carry out R&D+i in the ATM field, in order to improve the features (particularly safety, capacity and economic and environmental efficiency) of the Spanish air navigation system and as a part of the worldwide system.
