ENAIRE and COCESNA will share best air navigation practices for safer and more sustainable aviation
ENAIRE has signed a memorandum of cooperation with COCESNA, the Central American Corporation for Air Navigation Services, which brings together Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. The agreement was signed during ‘Airspace World 2025’, taking place from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 May in Lisbon, Portugal.
Airspace World‘, the most prominent global event on airspace management and air mobility, is being held by CANSO (Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation) from 13 to 15 May at the Feira Internacional in Lisbon
Both entities have agreed to strengthen and formalise their relationship, enabling and promoting the implementation of joint projects and cooperation activities. They recognise the importance of sharing best practices and collaborating within the field of air navigation, with the mutual aim of contributing to a more resilient, safe, efficient and sustainable aviation sector.
Last March, a COCESNA delegation visited ENAIRE’s headquarters in Madrid to learn about ongoing projects and to foster closer ties between the two entities, in an effort to strengthen cooperation. This collaboration has now been formalised through this agreement.
