Monica Mansilla holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma in Business Sciences and Foreign Trade, both from the University of Leon.
Before joining Aena, she worked in the tax department of the Territorial Economy and Finance Service of Leon.
She joined Aena's Air Traffic Directorate in 2004 and has held several positions of responsibility throughout her career. Starting in Aena's Central Services in the field of air navigation and continuing in ENAIRE since 2014.
She was named head of the Support and Coordination Department under the Deputy Directorate of Air Navigation in 2009, a position she held until 2012, when she was promoted to director of the Management Control Division.
Monica also served as the head of the Support and Coordination Division under the General Directorate's Cabinet from 2015 until her nomination as Economic and Financial Director in July 2022.
