ENAIRE Foundation will present 22nd Photography Award at ARCO

Stand will showcase photography collection of 105 works by well-known and up-and-coming artists

The ENAIRE Foundation, the cultural institution associated with ENAIRE, will use ARCO to present the terms and conditions of its 22nd Photography Award open to artists resident in Spain or who have exhibited works in the country over the past five years.

The 105 works in its collection and which are by well-known and up-and-coming artists will also be shown at ARCO this year - the first time that the ENAIRE Foundation has taken part in the contemporary art fair. The collection includes photos by Chema Madoz, Helena Almeida, Santiago Sierra, Carmela García, José Manuel Ballester, García Alix and Daniel Canogar.

The works will be on display at the Foundation’s stand so that visitors can experience and discover the collection’s photographs.

 Photography Award terms and conditions

·         Photography Award for photographers resident in Spain or who have exhibited in the country over the past five years. Entries must be original works that have not won awards in any other competition, must be artistic in nature and can be on any topic. Each competitor can submit up to three photos. The award-winning works will become part of the ENAIRE contemporary art collection.

The established prizes are €12,000 for first prize; €8,000 for second prize and €5,000 for third prize.

Works must be delivered to the ENAIRE Foundation registered office (General Pardiñas, 116, 3ª planta, 28006 Madrid, 91 321 18 00 / 01 / 02), except for entries for the Photography Prize, which can be delivered in person to calle Alameda 11 de Madrid (91 429 39 93) or delivered in person or sent by a transport agency to c/ Sevilla, 10, Polígono Industrial San Roque. The exhibition resulting from this year’s competition will open at the Cervantes Institute in Madrid in late May and be included in the 2017 PhotoEspaña official programme.
