Master's Degree in Air Navigation Services
ENAIRE has identified as a priority the development of a university programme for professionals involved in Air Navigation Services (ANS). This initiative has been considered a key element to improve the provision of air navigation services in accordance with the current needs and future demands of civil aviation.
The Master in Air Navigation Services Management is an educational tool aimed primarily at strengthening the management skills of staff involved in the provision of Air Navigation Services (ANS) and personnel employed by organisations that interact with these services.
The objective of the Programme is to equip candidates with specialised technical, operational and managerial skills to acquire a broad understanding of air navigation services and the context (current and future) in which they are provided.
It is noted that the Master is designed to provide appropriate competencies to personnel involved in ANS management and has been validated in accordance with the applicable ICAO ANS provisions as well as the Trainair Plus training methodology.
ENAIRE is developing the Master jointly with two renowned Spanish universities (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid) as well as with ICAO's Global Aeronautical Training Division (GAT), taking advantage of ENAIRE's membership of the Trainair Plus Programme (TPP).
The completion of each module leads to the issuance of a professional diploma issued by ENAIRE accrediting the candidate as an ANS specialist. Upon completion of the modules and the Master's Final Thesis, students will obtain a Master's diploma issued jointly by the UPM and UAM.
Students will also receive a certificate issued by ENAIRE and the ICAO Global Aviation Training Office (GAT).
