ENAIRE launches a new platform for aerial work applications
ENAIRE, as part of its process of constant improvement, is continuing to digitise its services and has developed ENAIRE Planea, a new platform specially designed to manage unconventional operations with drones, manned aircraft and other uses of the airspace.
ENAIRE Planea, available at planea.enaire.es, has been created with the end user, and all the activities that take place in our airspace, in mind. It provides a single point of contact for processing applications with ENAIRE and offers new features intended to satisfy your needs.
This direct communication channel with ENAIRE is initially being offered to process drone operations, and it will soon include all other applications for other civilian uses of the airspace managed by ENAIRE, such as launching weather balloons, fireworks, conducting flight tests with manned aircraft, unconventional activities, and more.
ENAIRE Planea is available for drone operators and pilots
To date, applications to use the airspace were submitted via email or through forms on ENAIRE's website. This new page facilitates the process by offering real-time access to the applications filed, a "hangar" where the aircraft data is stored, a channel for receiving notifications, a space for storing documentation in a personal area and for planning your operations with help from a virtual assistant and maps tailored to each activity.
For the convenience of the applicants, all the current channels will coexist for a few months until all the applications are migrated to ENAIRE Planea. During this period, ENAIRE will continue to work to integrate improvements, corrections and suggestions from users.
ENAIRE Planea is also integrated with other tools from ENAIRE's aeronautical information service, such as ENAIRE Drones (drones.enaire.es) and Insignia (insignia.enaire.es), which has information on airspace classes, restricted areas, NOTAMs and other useful features for drone and general aviation pilots and airspace users.
