ENAIRE honoured by the Real Aeroclub de España for supporting general aviation
The Real Aeroclub de España has honoured ENAIRE for its unwavering support for general aviation. During the closing ceremony of the Raid Centenario Bases Aéreas, which took place last night at its headquarters in the Madrid-Cuatro Vientos Airport, the club presented its "Icaro Award", which was accepted by ENAIRE's CEO, Ángel Luis Arias.
The Raid Centenario Bases Aéreas y Torre de Mando, held from 18 to 21 September between the four, 100-year-old air bases (León, Tablada, Getafe and Zaragoza) and the Madrid-Cuatro Vientos Control Tower of the Ministry of Defence, featured 42 aircraft organised by the Aeroclub de Sevilla and the Air Force. This competition also coincided with the 30th Trophy of His Majesty the King and the 47th Air Tour of Spain of the Real Aeroclub.
