ENAIRE managed nearly 180,000 flights in November, 4.3% more than in 2024
ENAIRE, Spain's air navigation service provider, managed nearly 180,000 flights (179,302) in November 2025, 4.3% more than in the same month in 2024. This growth rate is much higher than that recorded in the pre-pandemic period, almost doubling it (in November 2019 it was 2.6%).
In November 2025, there were 43,581 overflights, 7.7% more than in the same month of the previous year. International flights (99,808) increased by 5.2%, while domestic flights (35,913) fell 1.6%.
In November, air traffic growth in Spain was 0.5 percentage points below the European average (4.8%), although it exceeded it by 20.4 percentage points compared with the same month in 2019 (21.2% for Spain and 0.8% for Europe).
In November 2025, all ENAIRE control centres registered an increase in the number of flights managed compared to 2024: Barcelona registered 77,253 flights (+6.6%); Seville, 45,117 (+5.8%); Madrid, 105,461 (+4.1%); Canary Islands, 38,138 (+0.5%); and Palma, 15,484 (+0.2%).

Every ENAIRE control centre saw notable increases in the number of flights operated during the month compared to 2024
ENAIRE managed nearly 2.3 million flights (2,287,877) between January and November 2025, 4.7% more than in the same period in 2024, a record year. In the first eleven months of the year, overflights, which do not depart from or land at a Spanish airport (525,090), increased by 6.1%; international flights (1,330,649) by 5.6%, and domestic flights (432,138) by 0.5%.
All ENAIRE control centres saw increases in the number of flights managed so far in 2025 compared to the previous year; Seville, 525,945, 6.5% more than in 2024; Barcelona, 1,101,794, 5.4% more; Canary Islands, 393,465, 5.2% more; Madrid, 1,236,785, 4.8% more; and Palma, 365,815, 2.4% more.
Traffic growth in Spain exceeds the European average (3.9%) by almost one percentage point so far this year compared with 2024, and is 14.4 points higher than the European average when compared with the same period in 2019 (14.3% for ENAIRE and -0.1% for Europe), the pre-COVID reference year.
