Main requirements and duties
Air Navigation Engineering Technicians are responsible for carrying out the activities required to ensure the planning, control, and standardisation of technical operations; managing the procurement and distribution of spare parts and testing equipment; and facilitating the implementation of maintenance programmes as per established schedules and procedures.
Air Navigation Systems and Facilities Technicians are responsible for managing, developing and implementing all Air Navigation systems (automation, communication, energy and infrastructure, satellite navigation, and surveillance).
Air Navigation Operational Safety Technicians ensure that all safety aspects in the provision of Air Navigation services are properly addressed to minimise their contribution to potential risk situations that could impact aviation. To achieve this, they participate in determining and maintaining quantitative safety levels for all air navigation systems, implement safety control and monitoring mechanisms, regularly audit the affected areas of the organisation, and keep safety records up to date, among other duties.
Information Systems Project Technicians carry out the necessary activities to ensure that information systems projects at ENAIRE are properly managed and implemented. They may also perform tasks specific to their speciality to equip ENAIRE with the most suitable applications and IT services, and they may design and program IT systems to ensure their optimal performance.
