ENAIRE and the Madrid Bar Association sign an agreement to develop educational cooperation programmes
ENAIRE, Spain’s national air navigation service provider, and the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) have signed an agreement to develop educational cooperation programmes.
Students from ICAM’s Centre for Legal Studies will undertake external internships as well as bachelor’s and master’s final projects at ENAIRE
The purpose of this agreement is to set out the conditions under which students from the ICAM Centre for Legal Studies will carry out external internships and bachelor’s or master’s final projects at ENAIRE’s facilities as part of both official and internal qualifications.
The agreement was signed on 11 July by ICAM’s Dean, Eugenio Ribón, and ENAIRE’s CEO, Enrique Maurer.
The ICAM Centre for Legal Studies has been accredited as a School of Legal Practice by the Spanish General Council of the Legal Profession. Its role includes organising training and professional development courses for members, final-year law students, candidates preparing for entry into the profession, as well as a wide range of courses aimed at practising lawyers.
Under the agreement, ENAIRE may offer internship placements at the frequency and in the number it deems appropriate, specifying the details of each placement. The types of external academic internships available may be either curricular or extracurricular.
Curricular internships are structured as academic activities that form part of the corresponding study programme.
Extracurricular internships will be paid, with ENAIRE providing a grant or study allowance for the student.
ICAM will prepare an annex for each student, setting out the educational objectives and the competencies to be acquired, as well as the training activities to be carried out. Both ICAM and ENAIRE will appoint internship supervisors to oversee the proper development of the training programme.
