Elena Saenz holds a degree in Law from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) and has been a member of the Corps of State Lawyers since 2016.
As a State Lawyer, she began her professional career at the State Attorney's Office in A Coruña. There she developed advisory and contentious functions in the civil, criminal, contentious-administrative and labour areas.
She has been part of the Criminal Department of the State Attorney's Office, where she was the deputy head and led the coordination of the area of offences against the Public Treasury and Smuggling.
She has carried out coordination tasks in the Legal Assistance Agreements that the State Attorney General's Office has with the FROB and the Biodiversity Foundation.
In December 2019 she was awarded the First Class Distinguished Cross of the Order of San Raimundo de Peñafort.
Since July 2022 she has joined ENAIRE as Secretary General of the Entity.
