He has a business degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid (2003) and has been a career civil servant in the Senior Corps of Civil Administrators of the State since 2006
He began his professional career in government at the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, where he worked as head of service, department head and subsequently as Deputy Assistant Director General for the Modernisation of Management.
Subsequently, in September 2009, he moved to the Ministry of Culture, where he held, successively, the positions of head of the book sector, head of the support unit of the Directorate General of Cultural Industries and Reading and, finally, Deputy General Director to Promote Books, Reading and Spanish Literature.
From October 2018 to March 2020, he was the department coordinator within the Sub-Directorate General to Aid Victims of Terrorism.
