All such information is reported in real time, clearly, accurately and efficiently through different channels, depending on the alert level or severity of each situation.
SYSRED H24 cross-checks the available information regarding impact, estimated resolution time and alternative procedures, and communicates it to those who must be notified in each case. It then monitors developments through update reports and supports ENAIRE’s Management in information management and coordination during crisis situations. Collaboration with Aena’s Network Management Centre (H24) as airport operator is key in this process.
Every day, SYSRED H24 performs data analysis, providing service quality indicators to all stakeholders and serving as a reference point for ENAIRE’s Management regarding the operational status of the Network in real time.
Within SYSRED H24’s remit at ENAIRE lies the management and operation of the International NOTAM Office, which is responsible for the international distribution of all operational incidents through NOTAMs.
As regards centralised systems, particular emphasis is placed on the monitoring and technical operation that ensures the continuity of essential network services, including:
- The REDAN Data Network, which provides communications for all CNS (communication, navigation and surveillance) systems and the Spanish Air Traffic Control System (SACTA).
- CRAMI System (Integrated Message Automatic Relay Centre).
- ICARO System, for managing flight plans and aeronautical information aimed at aviation users.
- VOLMET System, which provides meteorological information to aircraft in flight.
- DATALINK Central Processor, for ground-to-air data links between the Air Traffic Control System and aircraft in flight.
