This page shows the Control Centres, airports and other air navigation services available in each region.

Northern Central Region

From ENAIRE's Air Control Centre in Madrid, we operate air navigation services for the Madrid FIR area, north of 39th parallel North, in an airspace covering 435,000 square kilometres, including the autonomous regions of Galicia, Principado de Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country, Navarra, Castilla y León, La Rioja and Madrid; part of Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Aragón, and the coastal area of the Cantabrian Sea and the Galician coast.

In the Northern Central Region there are six terminal control areas (TMA): Galicia, Asturias, Santander, Bilbao, Madrid and Zaragoza, and three controlled traffic areas (CTA): San Sebastian, Pamplona and Vitoria, which include the approach to most of its airports.

This region renders services for a large number of airports, namely: A Coruña, Asturias, Bilbao, Burgos, Huesca-Pyrenees, León, Logroño, Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Madrid-Cuatro Vientos, Pamplona, Salamanca, San Sebastián, Seve Ballesteros-Santander, Santiago, Valladolid, Vigo, Vitoria and Zaragoza.

Southern Region

From ENAIRE's Control Centre in Seville, we manage a 179,000-square-kilometre airspace that encompasses Andalusia, the province of Badajoz, part of Ciudad Real, Albacete and Murcia, the entire Bay of Cadiz and the entire western Mediterranean, as well as Ceuta and Melilla.

Two terminal control areas (TMA) fall within its radius: Seville and Almería; a controlled traffic area (CTA) in Granada, and eight airports: Seville, Málaga-Costa del Sol, Almería, Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén, Melilla, Córdoba, Jerez and Badajoz, and a heliport in: Ceuta.

Eastern Region

ENAIRE's Air Control Centre in Barcelona manages a 300,000-square-kilometre airspace comprising Catalonia, Valencia, and parts of the regions of Murcia and Aragon; as well as a large area of Spanish Mediterranean territorial waters. The Barcelona and Valencia terminal areas (TMA) fall within its radius.

The following airports are located within this region: Girona-Costa Brava, Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat, Sabadell, Valencia, Alicante-Elche, Reus, Albacete and Murcia.

Balearic Islands Region

From ENAIRE's Control Centre in Palma, we manage air navigation services for the five islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera) and the different islets that comprise the Balearic Islands. Only the first three have airports and air navigation aids. It covers 51,400 square kilometres.

Canary Islands Region

From ENAIRE's Air Control Centre in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands, we manage the air navigation services for a geographical area spanning 1,370,000 square kilometres. Especially over ocean areas where the Canarian archipelago and part of Western Sahara are located.

In the Canary Islands there is a terminal control area (TMA) and eight airports, which provide services to: North Tenerife, South Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and La Palma.
