It aims to create a common information repository across the organisation to enable data use and analysis for various studies, the discovery and implementation of use cases, and the development of mature analytics that generate impact and value for the business. It further promotes data governance, management, and the cultural change brought by establishing a Data Office and its related initiatives.
The Data Office is a multidisciplinary team composed of business and technical professionals reporting to the organisation’s CDO (Chief Data Officer). It manages data availability, integrity, usability, and security and, together with other internal ENAIRE roles, is responsible for coordinating and carrying out data governance deployment and operations. It also acts as a point of contact for resolving doubts and conflicts in any new initiative or project within ENAIRE.
The future aim for SYSRED is to consolidate it as a centralised unit model, capable of supervising and providing NETWORK services in real time, monitoring the operation of the system that underpins the air navigation network and the operational environment, with immediate response capability for incidents and for reporting and service-quality requirements arising from any circumstance.
The development of a 24-hour Network Services and Supervision Centre requires a development and evolution plan that includes actions across technical and organisational areas, deployment of useful services, and investment and development that provide the unit with the means necessary to carry out its various responsibilities, as well as any future functions to be integrated.
IMPACT is the tool developed and promoted by ENAIRE to be a reference for the provision of flow and capacity management services (ATFCM). It is based on the consumption and exploitation of Eurocontrol’s B2B services, and has been created to adapt to user needs and the latest advances. Continuous evolution and adaptability mark IMPACT’s roadmap, innovating and pioneering at European level, for example in the B2B transmission of cherry-picking regulation proposals (affecting a limited number of flights) and in the processing and transmission of Occupancy-based regulations, which are currently available for operational validations.
ENAIRE’s air traffic control system, SACTA (Automated Air Traffic Control System), is constantly evolving, incorporating both in-house developments contracted by ENAIRE and functionalities derived from European projects within the SESAR framework. ePALESTRA is a new development consisting of an innovative operational interface for SACTA. Its features include new web-based access, the integration of Business Intelligence and dashboards, the ability to calculate and manage KPIs, and enhanced integration of new technologies with reduced time-to-market.
Together with the HIPERION project—which aims to create a new SACTA subsystem to unify and manage data operations, with the capacity to transmit raw and processed data to third parties in real time and also provide B2B services—other internal and external systems will be able to connect to this new platform in an integrated way.

The ultimate goal is to have a mock-up that enables further interface development and subsequent project phases.
INFOARES will be a platform that, by leveraging current resources from other platforms such as INSIGNIA VFR and the VFR Guide, will make it possible to disseminate aeronautical information and relevant notices to VFR pilots and aerodrome managers regarding any operational, service, or facility-related incidents at restricted-use aerodromes. The information will originate from the aerodrome manager via a dedicated interface, and will reach the pilots operating at the corresponding airfield through the platform to be defined.
The interaction platform with unrestricted aerodromes—connected to current INSIGNIA systems—is already being developed, following the same approach used in the VFR Guide. This project is currently in real-world testing with several RACE (Royal Aero Club of Spain) aerodromes, and has been very well received by the General Aviation community.
