The Aeronautical Information Service gathers data on Spanish territory and on the airspace under its responsibility from various sources and authorised originators, and makes it available to the aeronautical community.
The information provided supports effective management and planning of operations. To ensure maximum data availability, users can access it through different products, media, formats, technologies and applications.
ENAIRE is the entity responsible for providing the aeronautical information service (AIS) on behalf of the State’s civil aviation authorities.
We are responsible for receiving or originating, cross-checking, assembling, editing, formatting, publishing, storing and distributing both the aeronautical information and data required to guarantee the operational safety, regularity, economy and efficiency of air navigation in Spain.

Before starting a flight, the latest updated information available must be gathered (NOTAM and meteorology).
This can be done through the ICARO XXI system by generating pre-flight bulletins.
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), through the Aeronautical Meteorological Self-Service (AMA), provides access to the latest weather reports and forecasts.
