Agreement includes participation in safety studies from ATCO and pilot outlook
ENAIRE, the air navigation manager in Spain, and the COPAC College of Commercial Aviation Pilots have signed a general action protocol for the two aeronautical institutions.

ENAIRE chief executive Ángel Luis Arias and COPAC dean Carlos Salas Ortiz de Villajos signed the agreement at the COPAC head office. It has a two-year term and can be automatically extended by further two-year periods up to a maximum of eight years.
The agreement includes participation in safety studies and risk analyses from the ATCO and pilot outlook. It will also be used as a framework for training courses, queries and congresses or campaigns of interest to the two institutions.
The cooperation areas will be:
· Formulation of queries regarding specific technical and operational matters.
· Holding of congresses and awareness-raising campaigns of common interest to professional organisations.
· Organising visits to learn more about the work that pilots and ATCOs do.
· Participation in safety studies and risk analyses, bringing the pilot viewpoint to the table.
· Engaging in technical consulting studies on required air navigation matters.
· Participation in the design and teaching of training courses and seminars on areas of mutual interest.
